- Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while being treated with this medication.

Use Ranolazine Ranexa dosages regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day. Ranolazine moa must be taken regularly to be effective. It should not be used to treat angina when it occurs. Use other medications (e.g., sublingual nitroglycerin) to relieve an angina attack as directed by your doctor. Do not suddenly stop taking Ranolazine 500mg er tablets without consulting your doctor. Your condition may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually decreased.

Get medical help right away if you have any very serious side effects, including fainting, severe dizziness, slow/fast/irregular/pounding heartbeat.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away.
Warnings & Precautions
- Before taking Ranolazine 500mg er tablets, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it.
- Before using Ranolazine Ranexa dosages, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history.
- Ranolazine may cause a condition that affects the heart rhythm (QT prolongation).
- Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness until you can do it safely.
- Limit alcoholic beverages.

Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, especially dizziness, constipation, and QT prolongation (see above).

It is unknown if Ranolazine moa passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
Storage
Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets.
